ABOUT SOLID GROUND

A growing business shouldn’t require its owner to hold every piece together.

As a business grows, complexity grows with it. More customers. More schedules. More people. More handoffs. If the operation underneath does not grow too, the owner becomes the glue holding everything together. Solid Ground exists to change that.

WHY SOLID GROUND EXISTS

We kept seeing the same gap.

Growing businesses often do not need more people thrown at the mess. They need clearer ownership, better systems, dependable handoffs and an operation that can carry growth without everything landing back on the owner. Solid Ground was built around that gap.

More people thrown at a broken process do not automatically create a better operation. Clear ownership, useful systems, dependable handoffs and follow-through do.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT THE WORK

Quiet competence. Clear ownership. Fix the cause.

The philosophy is not decoration. It is how we want the work to feel when you hand it to us.

01

Your life’s work deserves respect.

We do not forget whose business we are touching.

02

Quiet competence beats noise.

Calm, organized execution matters more than looking busy.

03

See the pattern, not just the problem.

Fixing Tuesday means little if the same system creates another fire Friday.

04

Own your work.

If it is ours, we follow it through and communicate when something changes.

05

People do better work when they are respected.

We build teams around mutual respect, inclusion, clear expectations and room for people to do good work.

OUR MISSION

Bring calm to complicated operations, strengthen the foundation underneath growing businesses, and give owners room to lead without spending their lives holding everything together.

OUR VISION

Build an operations company owners can trust with increasingly meaningful parts of their business—without quality depending on one person.

THE TRUST MODEL

When someone hands us part of their business, they are handing us part of their life’s work.

We respect that by turning care into operating behavior—not just nice words.

01DOCUMENT THE WORKImportant work should not live only in someone’s head.
02DEFINE OWNERSHIPEveryone should know who owns the next step.
03BUILD CLEAN HANDOFFSDetails should survive people, shifts and busy days.
04ESCALATE EARLYProblems get smaller when they are raised before they become fires.
05FOLLOW THROUGHIf it is ours, it stays owned until the loop is closed.
06CORRECT THE MISSWhen something within our control misses the standard, we acknowledge it and fix what we control.

MEET OUR FOUNDER · BRIEFLY

A little context about the person who set the standard.

Before Solid Ground had a name, business owners were already requesting Cici by name. She was described as a “breath of fresh air,” and owners expressed that they felt supported and comfortable/confident leaving important business and projects in her care. Founder feedback from work performed before Solid Ground; not presented as Solid Ground client testimonials.

Cici brings project-management discipline, systems thinking and team leadership to messy operations. She tends to notice where a process is likely to break before it becomes the next fire—and would rather fix the reason it keeps breaking than keep putting a Band-Aid on it.

Her delivery is usually quiet: listen, notice, organize, communicate, follow through. There may also be a joke somewhere in the middle of fixing the mess.

THE IMPORTANT PART

Cici isn’t the product. The standard is.

Founder-led does not mean founder-dependent. The point is to turn a way of working into a repeatable company standard.

MY STANDARD → OUR STANDARD
01DOCUMENT ITTurn expectations into SOPs and workflows.
02TEACH ITTrain the team with context, examples and clear standards.
03HAND IT OFFMake ownership and the next step obvious between people and shifts.
04BACK IT WITH ACCOUNTABILITYUse escalation, checks and follow-through so work does not quietly disappear.
05MAKE IT THE TEAM STANDARDBuild a company that can deliver the standard without depending on one person.

THE KIND OF COMPANY WE’RE BUILDING

People do better work when they are respected, trained and trusted to own it.

Mutual respect, inclusion, clear expectations and staff empowerment are not side notes here. They are part of how you build a team capable of taking ownership without creating another layer of chaos for the client.

Good operations need accountability. Good accountability does not require treating people badly.

YOU’VE ALREADY BUILT THE BUSINESS

Let’s build an operation worthy of it.

Tell us what keeps landing back on you. We’ll start there.
